We are a membership-led, democratically run socialist organization committed to improving the lives of Canadians through organizing people. We believe that working people should run both the economy and society democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few.
This means that members like you are organizing with fellow workers and neighbours through the DSC. Through organizing a majority of working class people, you will have the power to win, to publicly own and operate Canada’s economy, and to govern the country in your interest collectively.
Tenant Organizing
Rent is skyrocketing across Canada while living conditions deteriorate. Your landlord divides you from your neighbours to exploit you individually. Your rent is your landlord’s salary. When tenants come together, you have the power to make demands of your landlord, improving your living conditions and stopping rent hikes.
Become an Organizer
If you are frustrated by being exploited and seeing other people in your community face increasingly high rents while the quality of housing declines and the cost of living goes up, let’s get organized together. If you have some previous organizing experience or none at all, we welcome you, we will train you and support you along the way.
